  159. oh, they're so cute! i love how you used the ruler fabric for ties on one of them.

my life is really in flux at the moment because i'm staying with my grandmother while we try to get a handle on some health issues, but i'll tell you about a goal i made a few years ago, okay?

in 2008 or 2009, i made a commitment to myself that i would do something creative every day. it might be prepping a project, it might be researching for a blog post, or it might be actually sewing something, but every day i would do something.

and honestly, i can't imagine even needing to make a commitment like that now! it's become so second nature to me. that's the power of goals, i guess!

hopefully that counted! thanks so much for the chance to win!

  182. One goal of mine is to be able to spend my birthday (the WHOLE day) in my studio sewing. I want the bed made, dishes washed, meals prepared (may be purchased), clothes washed, dried and put away, kitchen sink empty, cats fed, litter box is self-cleaning, but needs the container emptied every other day. I want my hubby to answer all phone calls and leave me out of it unless there is an emergency.
I've already told my husband about this dream so he can plan ahead.
Other than this goal, I hope to sew more and exercise more too.

Thanks for having such a fun blog and sharing your darling projects with us.

    Debbie

  188. Hi Jen,
ONe of my main goals for 2012 is to finish going thru my boxes and boxes of fabric, organizing them as peryour wonderful fabric organizing series (I have gone thru 10 boxes already!) and decide what I will keep and what I will sell/donate. It's a big project second to the re-organizing of 30 years of photographs, both family and professional!Thank you so much for the give away, I love this lined bag and have already made one from your tutorial, but having all the sizes worked out would be WONDERFUL!
