Weekend

Hexagons, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Almost finished making hexagons! I'm started to get tired of making them so I may switch to connecting them for a while. I am loving the color combo.

Sketching, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Received my partner for the Doll Quilt Swap. Started sketching possible quilt ideas! I'm going to be pretty busy this summer with my internship so I know I need to get started right away so that I have plenty of time to make it. I'm going to sleep on my idea but I think I'm pretty excited about it! I also think I may do it double sided, piecing on both sides.

My Weakness, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Made another batch of Red Velvet Cookies. They are my absolute weakness!

  1. I love your photography! Always so bright and cheerful!

I just saw your comment on the DQS discussion board . . . INTENSE is an understatement! Ha ha ha :-) I think it's going to be tons of fun, but the intensity level is REALLY high!

  5. Great post, as usual :)

techie question: when you blog your pics from Flickr, how do you get them to be centered with your link info underneath? Mine always lines up to the right with the info on the side.

Also: what is your sketching process? Like, what info do you include and what is your scaling? Looks like a nice way to stay organized when planning one out!

    Thank you!!! :)

  6. I finally made up the red velvet cookies. My family thinks they are DELICIOUS.~ I didn't have time to refrig them so I used gloves and rolled the non-cool batter balls. It worked. I'll be making them often.
    Thank you.~
