Swapping

Since school will be starting up again NEXT week, I knew I should wrap up and get ahead on swaps that I'm currently in. So far so good, I finished up my quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap and got a great start on the Urban Home Swap projects I planned.

For this patchwork apron I used the apron pattern from I Love Patchwork as a base and then added my own style to it.

And now onto to the next project!

I ended up going with my original plan to do a double sided quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap. I had a lot of fun with this quilt! I really enjoy the contrast between warm and cool colors and was happy that this style would fit with my partner's tastes! :)

  2. I love the colors you chose for the mini quilt, particularly the way the red stands out! Good color inspiration :)

  3. Just stunning! The apron is adorable, especially that star patch with the octopus. Nice! And, you know I already love your quilt, but the tiny crosshatch quilting you did - wow.
