Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day!

It is time for Giveaway Day organized by Sew, Mama, Sew! Thanks for visiting!

I am giving away a copy of my Lined Drawstring Bag PDF Pattern! The pattern features 8 sizes, there is a bag for everything in this pattern!   9. My goal is to stop being scared or intimidated by things i want to do. If I want to do it, then by golly I'm going to try it. I know it's not technically the new year, but I did my first thing 2 days ago - I have always wanted to make croissants, but always thought them to hard. Well, I conquered that beast and they were deliious :)

  10. A big goal is to work out how to rearrange my little apartment so I can have a proper (ORGANIZED!) craft area but still somehow keep the tiny box room as the workout/ dog time-out room. I'm sure inspiration will come someday...

Hi Jeni one of a few goals of mine this new year coming is to lose some extra lbs. that I have acquired but also to set my sewing room up to be more organized and the later one will start as soon as the new year does because by then I will be finished all my gift sewing...have a wonderful holiday!

  43. I am making my first drawstring bag, from the tutorial, tomorrow night. Christmas present for my sister! Don't want to go to work... want to sew... hmmm....

    I want to start swimming at least two times a week in the new year. And post my sewing on Instagram more. I'm just discovering the online sewing community, and fingers crossed I can pull funds together to get to Sewing Summit this year <3 !!!

I've got tons of goals, the main one I think has to be getting an Etsy shop up and running...I'm a bit of a perfectionist so don't want to do it until every is just right but that might take too long! thanks so much for the chance to win.     One of my goals for the new year is to read more to my youngest son. I feel like such a bad mom because I've read constantly to my 3-year-old, and he is starting to learn himself because of it! But my 10-month-old has been far less interested in reading and I've obviously been busier, and so I've let it slide. I have a lot of making up to do! I want both my boys to love reading.

  111. I started a tradition for Christmas 2010 by making a gift bag that needed to be reused/recycled every year for our Christmases. This drawstring bag would be a great bag idea for next year - we already had our family Christmas this past weekend.

    My goal for next year is to complete all 3 machine-embroidered books, Twas the Night Before Christmas - the 2nd goal is to have them completed in the first six months of 2012.

Well we are due for our second boy this January and I have a toddler too, so my goal that I keep repeating is to keep things in perspective when things get exhausting and frustrating and all I want to do is hide in a corner and quilt but cant...it's really such a short time that they are this small :)

    Well, I have to finish my started Terrain quilt before spring (otherwise I will not use it this season...). And I will definitely have to spend some of the fabrics in my collection, with new table runners, new skirts & shirts and will use the leftovers for some drawstring bags! They are so fast to sew! I love the pattern! THanks!

  182. I want to finish more of my WIP's! While decorating for Christmas I knew I wanted to hang up my Christmas wall-hanging. I couldn't find it with my finished quilts. Then I realized it wasn't finished! :) I have some sewing to do!
