Introducing: Paper Patterns

Paper Patterns by Jeni Baker

I'm so excited to finally share something I've been working on for months and months! I'm happy to announce that my patterns are now available in print form!

It's been a long journey, but I'm really proud of the results.  All of the patterns (including the PDF versions), have been given a complete overhaul! I've replaced step-by-step photos with diagrams to make them easier to read, understand, and more cost effective to print! So even if you're printing at home, using the PDFs, you'll save on paper and ink!

I tried to incorporate the feedback that I've received through comments, emails, and teaching, to make things easier for everyone! They're all streamlined, so from one pattern to the next there is consistent language and instructions.

I had a limited number of patterns printed to start, and they are already loaded into my shop! I'll be having more printed after I return from Quilt Market. I am also accepting wholesale orders, so if you're a shop interested in carrying my patterns please send me an email (jeni@incolororder.com) for more information! I'll be taking pre-orders at Quilt Market later this month, so stop by my booth #1445! I'll have some with me there too!

To give you an idea, here is what one of my patterns, the Half-Square Triangle Sampler, looks like:

Pretty matte color covers!

They come in a plastic hang bag, barcoded and ready to go!

There is at least one full color diagram inside each pattern, with the remaining diagrams in black and white.

I hope you like them! It's so exciting to finally have them in my hands. Thanks for your continued support, it means a lot!

Have a great weekend!

  17. Very good. Paper patterns are so nice to have in one's cabinets or drawers to takeout anytime and start a new project; and can be given as gifts to a friend. This is very special!

  19. Very nice, they look fantastic, Jeni!

I see you have a bar code on the back. I'm curious about that - is it for the shop owners' convenience, to keep track of inventory? How did you make the bar code? I've been printing my patterns for a few months now, but a bar code never crossed my mind!

  22. Wow, I'm impressed with the work you must've put into changing the photos to diagrams. I have your lined drewstring bag PDF pattern and thought the photos were excellent, so I was surprised about the change. However, I have had trouble following some other people's photo directions, so maybe various designs are more intricate than others. Congratulations on your continued success!
