Today the sun came out. I saw the blue sky for what feels like the first time in months. I am so excited for Spring to arrive but it is still probably a long way off. Even though it was sunny, it was still cold for most of the day and there was still a chance of snow. At least it's getting closer though!

George flopped over in his favorite box this afternoon and took a nap in the sun. He was looking so cute and sleepy. It reminded me of my black cat, who loves to lay in the sun. Her fur gets so nice and warm.

Lots of patchwork and a little Hello Kitty! I have been really attracted to pinwheels and wonky stars all of a sudden. I would love to make a quilt of pinwheels like the first image. I love that they are the same colors but different fabrics. Love it! :)

Kicking off a month of green Pyrex over at Pyrex In Action!

Spongebob & the library are getting me through my cold.

The first week of the shopping hiatus went pretty well. I did eat out twice, but spent under $10 total. I went thrifting a little more than I probably needed to. I did buy one thing that kind of breaks the rules. A piece I needed for my food processor. I am not really counting this though because I had been watching it on eBay for about a week before deciding to go on a shopping hiatus! All in all I'm happy with the first week and only hope I can keep it up! I have had some fabric temptation (via the internet of course!) but I have so far resisted :)

- Starting to feel a little better
- Made it through my 60th day of Project 365!
- Cleaned the kitchen and did all the dishes
- Five Guys Burgers :)
- And I saw a SMART CAR! :D
