Stitching, originally uploaded by jenib320.
I finally found my floss winder while I was home for Christmas! After all the presents were made I spent time winding all my floss. Now it's nice and organized! I've been working on the sweet cocoa cross stitch by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery! I was very lucky to find this ridiculously cute needle holder in my mailbox from Rachel of Stitched In Color (if you aren't familiar with her blog, go check it out, it's fantastic!)! How adorable is it?! A sweet George bunny on it!! Thank you Rachel, that was so thoughtful of you, I love it!

Turquoise Dansk Kobenstyle, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Santa brought turquoise Kobenstyle! We found these two pieces at an antique store this summer and Mom set them away for Christmas! I was supposed to forget about them, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought of them pretty much everyday!

Swiss Chalet Dishes, originally uploaded by jenib320.
Santa also brought a set of Swiss Chalet vintage dishes!! I have been collecting bits and pieces here and there and I think I finally have enough to actually put together a decent set! :)

I've reopened the shop and added a few new goodies!

George's Christmas!, originally uploaded by jenib320

A little George video from Christmas morning! He loves paper so I let him unwrap his present but he got bored pretty quickly!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday! Thank you for all the love on my vintage sheet quilt! I have been snuggling under it every night! I'll be looking back on 2010 in the next few days, so stay tuned! :)

Today I love the..

  1. Hope you feel better very, very soon! Great gifties. You don't feel well, and you are still doing counted cross-stitch. You are my hero!

  5. Aw, so fun to see my bunny here. Happy! Hope your cold goes away real quick. And what's this about a floss winder? I just figured out yarn ball winding. Could there be an embroidery equivalent?

  6. I'm so glad you posted something about the Swiss Chalet dishes! I found two pieces of this (an oval shaped plate and a creamer) at two different thrift stores here where I live and gave them to a fellow thrifter friend for Christmas. I didn't know anything about them or the name of the dishes but now I do, thanks to you! :)
