New Embroidery by Jeni Baker

Hi there! My goodness it's been a while for a regular post.  Things have been so out of whack lately! Between trying to finish up my second fabric collection with Art Gallery, writing/stitching up new patterns, getting current patterns ready for print (yay, finally!), being car-less for a week, regular day-to-day activities and teaching, I'm feeling a bit stretched.  Too many different directions! Oh well, hopefully I'll find some normalcy soon!

I started a new embroidery yesterday! I once again pulled from a Color Me Retro print, this time from Florette.  It's already stitching up really quick!

Last weekend I drove up to visit and sew with Anna and Megan! I brought along these blocks that I started at Quilt Camp in December using solid scraps.  I don't usually work with just solids, but I'm loving these.  They are all Pure Elements, I especially love the background which is almost a linen color, Sandstone.

Some sneaky peeks of two new quilt patterns! I can't wait for these two to be done, I'm really liking how they are coming together!

I finally got myself organized and re-opened my Vintage Sheet Etsy Shop! The pretty sheets I found over the holidays have been added to the mix!

Big Bang Theory by Jeni Baker

I managed to get totally obsessed with The Big Bang Theory over the holidays! I can't get enough of it.  It's like Friends meets 3rd Rock from the Sun.  I love it!

Sometimes when you're stuck at home, the only thing to do is to bake a batch of Smitten Kitchen Blueberry Muffins, and eat half the batch immediately after baking! So good!

  9. You have been a busy girl! You have summed up The Big Bang Theory beautifully. We're a little over exposed to it here in Australia. It's played on tv all the time, repeated, repeats etc. I do love it, as do my hubs and kids. Your wall of vintage sheets is delightful. It brings strong memories of sleeping at my Grandma's house, some of my favourite childhood times.
